Véronique Soisson is currently doing a PhD thesis within our team.

Her research project concerns the relationship between endogenous sex hormones and the risk of cardiovascular diseases in men older than 65 years. Her work is based on data from the Three City study, a prospective cohort study including approximately 10 000 subjects (4 000 men and 6 000 women) of 65 years old or more. The objective of this project is to study the link between the plasma levels of sex hormones and cardiovascular risk factors in healthy older men and to analyze the predictive value of sex hormones in the development of the cardiovascular diseases in the elderly.

She also gives courses in Public Health for 1rst year students of Paris XI's Master (Methods in Public health): Courses in biostatistics and tutorial for R software initiation.
